If you have already registered for one of our synchronous or in-person professional development workshops and you are no longer able to attend the workshop, our cancellation policy is as follows:
If a registered attendee does not show up for any portion of a Zoom workshop, they are considered a "no show" and will not be refunded and may not receive a completion certificate if they do not make up the missed hours.
An exception to the above cancellation policy will be made for an unexpected illness or emergency, and a refund of 50% or a credit to attend an up-coming workshop can be issued.
In order to be counted present for any Zoom session, you must have your camera and microphone active. Please make sure your webcam and computer/headset microphone are working prior to the start of the course.
To receive credit for the synchronous or in-person courses, you must attend each live session or zoom session and submit all assignments via Canvas.
If you plan to use this training course for CEUs, please make sure to confirm that with your school/county prior to the start of the course. You will receive a certificate at the end of the course to submit to your school/county as proof of completion.
Continuing education (CEUs) are the final decision of your school district, continuing education committee or other relevant authority. Typically, teachers can receive up to 4 CEUs for completing a 40 hour course. To obtain your CEU credit for the course, contact your principal or district LEA in charge of CEUs. You will need to present your certificate and a description of the course. You should be able to use the description from our website. If your district requires further information they are welcome to contact us for a letter.
